One of the most pleasant ways to learn about the country, is to try it’s local tastes. The food tour, which is actually a combination with sightseeing tour and tasting local cuisine. Additionally to sightseeing spots we will try:

  • Local parmesan cheese, learn it’s history and the story of a great success.
  • We will visit mini brewery, which is a small family business. The beer is brewed in the basement, just under the bar, so it goes straight from the barrel to the glass. You will taste 3 types of local beer with best Lithuanian snack fried Lithuanian bread with garlic and cheese.
  • Local wine. Have you ever heard about Lithuanian wine? Local wine is produced by small family companies usually from different types of berries and apples. What about raspberry, blackberry or sweetberry wine?
  • What about hot chocolate for a desert, or parmesan cheese ice- cream?
    And if you are still eager to explore – I can advise you several restaurants, where you can have a cold beet soup (pink soup), Cepelinai ( meat and potato dumplings) or potato pancakes.
